Phyno – Next Of Kin Mp3 Download

Next Of Kin is a captivating track from Nigerian indigenous rap heavyweight and Penthauze ruler, Phyno, off his acclaimed studio effort Let That Sink In (LTSI).

This contemplative tune arrives just when contemporary hip-hop purists and Afro-fusion fanatics want message-driven records that address familial legacy, generational prosperity, and personal mortality. Phyno leaves the joyous party flowing to ponder the future, questioning who’s in his corner when the curtain falls. The songwriting is focused on developing sustainable substance, protecting his bloodline, and picking loyal day-ones worthy of inheriting the results of his tireless labor.

Behind the sound, the architect builds a pleasant, mid-tempo environment on the boards, built on delicate guitar plucks, snappy percussion shakers, and a steady rolling bassline. Phyno rides the record with his usual raspy flow, seasoning every bar with seasoned Igbo proverbs and sincere street thoughts.
