Popular Nigerian singer Omah Lay Teams Up With Tiakola on Dazzling Song “TAKE”

Nigerian singer Omah Lay connects with French vocalist and rapper Tiakola on “TAKE,” a cross-continental collaboration featured on Clarity of Mind (Extended). The track brings their distinctive melodic styles together, creating a smooth Afro-fusion record with an introspective edge.

Released on October 30, 2026, through Sire Records and Warner Records, “TAKE” is one of four new additions to the extended edition of Omah Lay’s sophomore album. The collaboration reportedly grew out of studio sessions between the two artists in Paris.

On the song, Omah Lay delivers his familiar brooding melodies and vulnerable vocal approach, while Tiakola adds fluid French verses that complement the track’s atmosphere. Their performances explore the idea of moving beyond material distractions, negative influences and the superficial pressures that can accompany sudden fame.

Rather than relying on a heavy arrangement, “TAKE” places its focus on melody and the chemistry between both performers. The result is a meeting of Nigerian Afrobeats and contemporary French urban music within Omah Lay’s expanded album era.
