Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido begins the journey into his sixth studio album ORIADÉ with “On The Road,” the project’s opening track. Released on July 31, 2026, through Sony Music Entertainment, the song introduces the sound and story behind an album arriving as Davido celebrates 15 years in the music industry.

Serving as Track 1 on the 13-track project, On The Road sets the foundation for ORIADÉ by reflecting on Davido’s remarkable career journey.

The record embraces the album’s central theme of “crowned destiny,” presenting a powerful reflection on ambition, perseverance, and the experiences that shaped Davido’s success.

Sonically, the track maintains his signature Afrobeats identity while introducing the electronic 3-Step Afro House influences that run throughout ORIADÉ, inspired by his deep connection with South Africa’s dance music culture.

With its rhythmic production, reflective message, and position as the album’s introduction, “On The Road” serves as a fitting opening statement for Davido’s next musical era, inviting listeners into a project built around legacy, growth, and global influence.
