DMW Boss, Davido Embraces Melody on “Already Falling” From ORIADÉ

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido slows the pace on “Already Falling,” the eighth track from his highly anticipated sixth studio album, ORIADÉ.

Released on July 31, 2026, through Columbia Records and Sony Music Entertainment, the solo record offers a more intimate side of the award-winning singer while expanding the emotional depth of the project.

Positioned immediately after the energetic collaboration “B4 B4” featuring Mayorkun and Fola, Already Falling introduces a calmer atmosphere before seamlessly leading into “Tell Everybody,” the album’s collaboration with American singer-songwriter Leon Thomas. The placement creates a smooth transition between the album’s high-energy moments and its more reflective passages.

Without any featured artists, Davido takes full command of the record, delivering a heartfelt performance over a polished blend of Afro-R&B and contemporary Afrobeats production.

Lyrically, “Already Falling” explores the emotions that come with surrendering to love, capturing feelings of vulnerability, deep affection, and emotional commitment.

Eventually, the track further showcases Davido’s versatility, proving he can balance infectious anthems with soulful storytelling on ORIADÉ.
