FOLA – hold u down ft. Darkoo Mp3 Download

Versatile Nigerian singer and songwriter, FOLA delivers a compelling collaboration on hold u down, a standout track from the project 9. Positioned as the 13th song on a 14-track lineup, this piece features the distinctive touch of Darkoo, adding a complementary dynamic to the Nigerian artist’s sound.

A measured Afrobeats rhythm shapes “hold u down”, a 2026 collaboration by Nigerian singer FOLA featuring British-Nigerian vocalist Darkoo on his sophomore album 9.

The collaboration introduces a fresh partnership for FOLA, whose songwriting has often explored love and personal relationships. Darkoo contributes another vocal presence to the recording, while FOLA continues developing the melodic approach that has become central to his music.

Cole and SBThaProducer are credited with producing the song, which moves at a measured 84 BPM. Its unhurried Afrobeats tempo suits the R&B-influenced style associated with FOLA, allowing the recording to maintain a relaxed musical direction.

Beyond the collaboration, the release arrives at an important stage in FOLA’s career. The success of his 2025 debut album catharsis established a stronger audience for his music, and his latest project provides another opportunity to demonstrate consistency across a complete body of work.
